Baojun E300


The microcar had its public premiere in January 2020 in Guangxi by SAIC-GM-Wuling and has been sold in China from May 2020 through August 2021 when it was updated to August 2021, the E300 was updated and relaunched as the Baojun KiWi EV.

The Baojun E300 comes as a shorter E300 with two or three seats or as a longer E300 Plus with four seats. The Baojun E300 Plus has excellent visibility, spot-on driving position, and ergonomic controls, even though the materials found in the cabin are pretty basic.

The Baojun E300 has a synchronous fixed-ratio gearbox and rear-motor, rear-wheel-drive layout, generating 40 kW of maximum power and 150 Nm of maximum torque. It has a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour and supports DC fast charging, enabling it to be fully charged in one hour.[8] The top-of-the-line version of the E300 Plus is equipped with a 31.9 kWh battery and an NEDC range of 305 km (190 miles)

On Safety the Mini-EV comes with electronic stability control (ESC), an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), hydraulic brake assist (HBA), and dual front airbags. More than 80% of the body consists of high-strength steel. The battery pack is wrapped in super-strong steel and is equipped with an active power-off system for extra protection precaution in the event of a collision.

The Baojun E300 starts from the equivalent of nearly $9,700 in standard wheelbase form, while the E300 Plus long-wheelbase variant is priced from under $10,500
